We are delighted to announce we have become members of the Women Pivoting to Digital Taskforce and will work with the City of London Corporation to help mid-career women pivot to digital roles.
The Women Pivoting to Digital Taskforce brings together business, government, third sector, and industry groups to bring more attention to and action around supporting women from non-technical backgrounds to career change into technology roles.
With over 100 organisations signed up to the Taskforce to date, this launch will mark the commencement of the Taskforce and will run for two years starting from April 2024, and will focus on supporting women with five years' non-related workforce experience or more transition into a digital career.
Commenting on our new membership, Director of People and Women in Tech advocate, Sarah Bright “Embracing the technology industry has proven to be one of my most rewarding career decisions. Amidst the innovation and passion, I refuse to be deterred by the rhetoric of its male dominance. While there's truth to it, there are countless allies, and the industry's commitment to diversity and inclusion is undeniable, propelling it forward.”
The aim of the Taskforce is to address the underrepresentation of women working in digital careers by providing women with vital skills to future proof the digital workforce.
We are honoured to be a part of this movement and encourage fellow digital organisations to do the same.
