Axiologik Certified to Cyber Essentials

It was announced in November that Axiologik had successfully been certified to Cyber Essentials, a Government approved scheme to assess and award organisations that comply with the very best cyber protection.

This is a fantastic achievement and reassures our customers and partners that we are working to secure our IT against cyber attack. Further, it is a mandatory requirement for some government contracts and therefore broadens the scope of work we can engage in.

What is the Cyber Essentials Scheme?

It’s a Government-backed scheme that helps to protect an organisation, whatever its size or sector, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks. It focuses on five key areas:

• Securing internet connections and networks
• Securing devices and softwareControlled access to data and services
• Protection from viruses and other malware
• Keeping devices and software up to date
• Certification gives us peace of mind that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks, simply because these attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
