Axiologik recognised with new Disability accreditation!

As part of an ongoing commitment to creating fair and equal opportunities, we have been credited with the Disability Confident level 1 certificate.

Launched by the UK Government, the Disability Confident registration scheme encourages employers to help people with disabilities work. The certificate also offers a continuous path of improvement around accessibility for employees with disabilities, which includes people with physical and non-apparent disabilities.

As part of the certification process, Axiologik will also identify specific gaps in employee experiences and opportunities to optimise practices and policies to ensure equitable career paths for all employees. Ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible, offering an interview to people who meet the minimum job criteria, anticipating and providing reasonable adjustments as required, and supporting any existing employee who acquires a disability or long-term health condition — enabling them to stay in work.

The announcement coincides with our recent D&I strategy, which will be launched later this year. With newly appointed Head of People and Culture Sarah Bright taking the reins on our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion journey, this certificate underpins our commitment to building and developing an inclusive workforce.

“This is just one element of our commitment to inclusivity and further demonstrates our commitment to social responsibility. Social values are at the heart of our organisation, from our work with our clients and how we treat our employees and partners to the local communities we support. Our talent team has worked hard to prioritise this and is delighted to have been recognised with this accreditation. To continue to learn from others in this field and lead the way in our community is an exciting opportunity,” said Sarah, Head of People and Culture.

Also commenting on the recent accreditation, Head of Talent Jack Taylor said, "We are proud to have received the Disability Confident level 1 certificate. We still have further to go, but it's great to see Axiologik recognized for our commitment to diversity and inclusion — it is essential to our business's growth, continued innovation, and ability to deliver value for our clients and stakeholders."

While it is a worthy validation of our focus on D&I, we understand this is genuinely a starting point. We must continue to attract different groups of people and voices that will enrich our services and support our ethos.
