Executive Edge Dinner: Leading Digital Transformation Through Dialogue and Discovery

On Thursday, 14th May, we were delighted to host a select group of senior leaders in Digital Transformation for our Spring Executive Edge Dinner an exclusive evening of thought leadership, collaboration, and fine dining at Ivy Asia's elegant private dining room.
This intimate, three-course dinner brought together influential voices from across sectors, with representation from leading organisations including ITV, the Department for Business and Trade, MHRA, Lloyds Banking Group, Optum, and Leeds Credit Union. The evening served as a platform for candid conversations around the evolving challenges and opportunities in Digital Transformation.
As part of our ongoing Executive Edge series, the event centred on three critical pillars of modern transformation: delivering change in increasingly complex environments, exploring the human dynamics that underpin successful transformation, and designing organisational structures that balance innovation with compliance, enabling high performance without compromising control.
Featured Speakers
We were honoured to welcome two guest speakers who brought unique perspectives and practical insights:
Kate Naylor, Head of Group Transformation, Zenith
Kate shared her experience leading strategic transformation at Zenith, emphasising the importance of authenticity, integrity, and bravery in leadership. She spoke passionately about the need for proactive leadership, cultivating resilient teams, and securing strong sponsorship for change initiatives. Her advice: "Don't just throw resources at a problem, ensure they're the right ones. Engage the business early to drive adoption, not resistance."
Paddy Lye, Chief Operating Officer, TPT Retirement Solutions
Paddy offered a reflective and interactive session; he led an open and inclusive discussion, encouraging guests to share their experiences. Drawing from his own journey, Paddy emphasised three leadership fundamentals:
• The necessity of change
• The impact of culture on success
• The complexity of modern environments
He also addressed the shift in how organisations must now operate, navigating the interplay between evolving technologies and human psychology while maintaining a clear focus on strategic outcomes, their "North Star".
As the evening drew to a close, one thing was clear: the future of digital transformation lies not just in technology but in the strength of leadership, the courage to challenge convention, and the willingness to collaborate across boundaries.
Executive Edge continues to be a catalyst for these conversations, where strategy meets substance, and leaders leave inspired to act.
Through our work across different sectors, one insight has become increasingly clear: there is a growing need for a trusted space where senior leaders can connect, reflect, and collaborate. Executive Edge was created to meet that need—a forum designed to offer a reprieve from the pressures of leadership, foster open dialogue on emerging trends, and cultivate a cross-sector network of peers navigating similar challenges.
